I came in to their shop one Sat in June of 2017. to have my fence and gate replaced. Moreno who sits in front in the office was not only kind but very professional . he drew gate and fence exactly I wanted and send John out to my house for measurement who also was very polite and professional. he answered all my questions. The iron works were made and installed very neatly and I am very happy with Kim Iron Works. I highly recommend this company..
I hired Kim's 15 years ago for side gates. Great job then. Now I needed my back fence replaced and I called them. James came out provided an estimate. He even tweaked our side gates which settled and wouldn't close properly. They work fine now. Back to the fence. Mike and Alfredo showed up early! Worked the day to compete the job. Both men very respectful and hard working. Installed the fence, welded parts, and primed and painted! Great job by all. James, Alfredo and Mike.
I live in Buena Park, and have seen the shop on Orangethorpe for almost 20 years driving by. So I called them on my fence repair job. It took them 3 days to come and do the work. I was so happy that they came quickly. Thanks for a quick repair on my fence! It is as good as new..
They lust finished the job. Absolutely beautiful and timely. The price was very good also. Couldn't be happier!
Professional and quality work. We had Kim Iron Works construct a custom double French door security gate with a dog door and it turned out great! Mike was very professional every step of the way. He came out to do an estimate and a drawing with detailed measurements prior to starting the order and he was very easy to work with. The final product came out just as we wanted! The installation team was very professional as well - arrived on time and installed the door professionally. Everything met our expectations and we plan to use them again for any future needs. We highly recommend them for your welding/iron works needs.
My wrought iron fence had rusted at the joints where its anchored into bricks and fallen into the neighbor's yard. I made a few calls to find out how much it would cost to get it welded back in place. Kim charged $200. All other estimates were from $300 to $500. They even added another bar in a location where the bar got bent out of place and painted the welded area with rust resistant paint for no additional cost. I had this done last year. We had scheduled a day a week in advance, and when that day came, dark clouds covered the sky and the weather report predicted a major storm coming up. I thought that they would call and cancel, but instead they showed up and worked in the downpour. I was really surprised that they could get it welded in the heavy rain. One guy just held a piece of cardboard above the area that they were welding while the other guy did the welding. The guys themselves got soaked though.
I requested estimate with Kim's iron works in the morning. Kim was prompt with appointment and not only he provided an estimate that beat other estimates but also clearly drew the designed of the installed gate. He was very polite and easy to communicate with and I was also able to discuss the options. I didn't install iron gate as I went with wooden design due to time constraints hence the review is for appointment and estimate only. Will I pull a contract with Kim in the future ? If need be, absolutely yes based on what I saw so far.
New gates installed today. Very happy with them. A fair price and good workmanship. They were here when they said they would be and fabrication took about as long as they said it would take.
Fabulous job and workmanship. They matched a gate perfectly to my existing gates, and they were very timely with their quote, fabrication and installation. Recommend 100%!
